Live Event Technical Manager - Beckenham; £35-40K + overtime

As you are already working in the technical event sector (audio visual, stage and lighting), you will have experience of the challenges in this fast-paced environment, and get a buzz from adapting to suit the situation, meeting with clients and keeping them up to date and on-board with schedules, budgets and managing all the myriad expectations that come with any event.

Your broad technical knowledge will be put to good use, and you’ll enjoy working closely with the team involved in audio, video, lighting and all aspects of events & sites - your friendly approach, leadership and imaginative problem solving being highly valued when there are tight deadlines to meet!

Your overall responsibilities are to work with the project managers and the warehouse team to ensure clients receive the best service and technical specifications for their events. You are the interface between the guys who manage and look after the equipment back at base and the project managers who are the client facing event delivery team.

Specifically you will generate proposals and quotations for client events. Prepare drawings using Vector Works. Work with the project managers to ensure events are delivered smoothly.

You will manage onsite the set up, install and de -rig of events, including crew management.

You will have full awareness of the company's equipment portfolio and its functions. You will work with the warehouse manager to ensure all equipment is kept up to date and maintained.
